The title pretty much sums up what this page is all about!

I often times get email asking what size tire works best on a 18" wheel, 19" wheel, and sometimes 20" wheel.  Well, normally, I don't have the answer because I don't run these sized wheels :)  However, in order to try and help out a bit I figured I'd throw together this page for all you other F-Body guys out there who are always wondering this.

If you have a 4th Generation F-Body with a large wheel diameter and low profile tire, please send me some info on what brand and size tires you are running.  Also include wheel info such as manufacturer, offset, and backspacing (if you know).  If possible, a picture would be nice too!

17" Wheels

• 17" x 11" AFS Grand Sport ZR1/SS replica wheels
• 335/35/17 Bridgestone RE-71s

• 17" x ? 1999 Corvette wheels
• 255/40/17 tires.  This tire size whas picked to better compliment the 18" rear wheels. (see below)
• Suspension Technique springs.

18" Wheels

• 18" x 9.5" front and rear 1997 to 1999 Chrome Corvette wheels.
• Front tires: Kumho 265/35/18.
• Rear tires: 275/35/18.
• Car is lowered ~2.5" with Eibach Sportline springs and there is no rubbing at all.
• Previous combo had the same style wheels but in 17" x 8.5" with Kumho 275/40/17 and these did rub slightly in the front when wheels were fully turned in either direction.

• 18" x 9.5" Chrome Z06 Replicas
• 275/40/18 tires.  These tires rub slightly but not bad.
• Eibach Pro Kit springs.

• 18" x 9.5" Chrome Corvette Y2K wheels all the way around
• 285/35/18 Nitto Extreme 555s
