This is my 1995 Trans Am.  It is fully loaded with a gray leather interior, t-tops, and a 6-speed manual transmission.  I have the guys on the F-Body mailing list and Camaro/Firebird newsgroup to thank for "making" the purchase of the Trans Am a near necessity :)   You see, around the beginning of '97 I was perfectly content with my stock 94 Z28.   I then started reading the Camaro/Firebird newsgroup and shortly thereafter subscribed to the F-Body mailing list.  Once I joined the mailing list it was like an instant mod fest!  Once I started fixing my Z up, I could not stop... they turned me into a monster!  Well, in about one years time, I've turned the Z into a monster too :)  I could no longer justify using the Z to make my daily 60 mile round trips to work and back for fear of possibly "wearing out" my baby.  So, I decided to buy a beater to drive back and forth to work *most* of the time and drive the Z on nicer days.  I looked a couple weeks for a semi-nice 3rd gen IROC or Z-28.  But, I thought since I was going to be driving my beater most of the time, I'd get something a little nicer than I originally intended.  I went from looking at 87 and 88 IROC's to newer 91 and 92 Z's.  That didn't last long either and I started to look at 4th gens :)  After all, I could use parts I took off the Z and put them on a 4th gen if the need ever came up.  (I have to justify doing stupid and irrational things somehow.   Investing the money and buying an old Geo which gets good gas mileage is the smart thing to do... but that wouldn't be any fun now would it? :)  After looking for a 4th gen for about three weeks, I came upon just about the exact car I was looking for and ended up getting a pretty good deal on it IMO.  That ends the little story of why a single guy like myself did something stupid like buy another fast car when I can only drive one at a time :)

Since the purchase of the SS, I no longer can really afford to keep this car or even justify keeping it :)  Therefore, I've got it up for sale :(  See below for details...

For Sale

1995 Pontiac Trans Am

I really like this car and I hate to sell it but I can't afford to keep it since I just made a spur of the moment purchase of a 1996 SS (a car which I've always wanted!!!).

1995 Black Pontiac Trans Am with gray leather interior

350 LT1 engine and 6 speed manual transmission

Power windows, power door locks, power front and passenger seat lumbar... basically, fully loaded :-)  Car also has t-tops, the optional higher rear spoiler, and an Alpine stereo.  Car has 75,000 miles on it but it doesn't look or drive like it.

I have added over $3000 worth of "upgrades" to the car including:  ROH ZR6 17" wheels with Firestone Firehawk SZ 50 tires in the 275/40/17 size.  These are *very* good tires and still have a lot of miles left in them!  I have also added a K&N FIPK, JET stage II module, aftermarket front fog lights, and a DrawTite class II hitch (which I've used about 10 times to tow my dirt bike on a small utility type trailer).

Car runs great and drives great and gets great gas mileage!  A couple weeks ago drove it on a 1300 mile round trip and got 31-32 mpg!

I'm asking $14,500 obo which is under NADA book value and the NADA book, of course, doesn't include the extras I've added to the car!

I can be reached at bfranker@tampabay.rr.com  and am located in Central Florida.  If you're interested, shoot me an email and we'll talk!

Below I've included more pics of the car... enjoy!
